Theory criticism, in philosophy, is called to the main theoretical body of philosophers and other thinkers from various disciplines attached to the Frankfurt School: Theodor Adorno, Walter Benjamin, Max Horkheimer, Herbert Marcuse, Jürgen Habermas, Oskar Negt or Hermann Schweppenhäuser, Erich Fromm, Albrecht Wellmer and Axel Honneth among others.
