Name of a natural satellite of Jupiter. Some astronomers call it Jupiter XIV. In Greek mythology, it was the name of a nymph daughter of Asopus and Metope, who was Zeus' lover. It was also called Thébe or Thebes. She was the sister of Aegina. Some authors define her as the daughter of a king of Egypt. Name of a French commune in the Poroneos .
