In Guatemala it is called tapesco to a frame on which is hit with a stick corn and beans for shelling it.

tapesco is incorrectly written and it should be written as "Tapezco" being its meaning: In Nicaragua it is called tapesco to a lattice of gray of the maize plants that hang over the stove or rudimentary kitchens ( 41 peasant; for smoking meats, curds and other foods to prevent its early decomposition, also give good flavor to them.
