TANGELO Fruit of Chinese origin, which is a hybrid between mandadarin and pampelmusa, or between grapefruit and mandarin.
It is the name of a variety of sweet orange. It is usually obtained by crossing tangerine and grapefruit or tangerine and grapefruit. Technically it's called Citrus x tangelo .
