In Colombia it is the name of a municipality of the Department of Cundinamarca and in the language Chicha means "white straw". Also Susa was the name of an ancient city of Mesopoatamia, mentioned in the Holy Bible, in the Book of Esther. It was of great importance in the Persian Empire. In Italy, there is also a town called Susa, which belongs to the province of Turin.
