It means "New Chiapa" or "Young Chiapa". It is the name of a municipality in the State of Chiapas Mexico. He was thus designated to differentiate it from Chiapa de Corzo already existing at the time of its creation, the name comes from the word Nahuatl "Sushik" which means young, new and "Chiapan" which means the site or place where there are chia.
