subsuccion is incorrectly written, and should be written as "subduction" being its meaning: subsuccion = Subduccionsubduccionse known as subduction the process whereby part of the oceanic crust, individualized in a lithospheric plate, dives under another plate of continental character. Plates have separation of approach movements, separate or are approaching some others swept away by the currents convective generated under them. In the context of plate tectonics, the edges affected by this process are called " edges destructive " Since the fusion of the crust occurs in them. This merger will depend on the angle of penetration of one plate under the other. In any circumstance, the oceanic crust hydrated, it melts at low temperature resulting in the formation of magma to shallow, and the generation of volcanic chains located on subduction zones. The collision of the lithospheric plates is also responsible for the formation of long and deep ocean trenches, of the development of regional metamorphic processes, conditioned by the increase, joint or individual, of the pressure and temperature. In the areas of collision of plates, the sudden release of accumulated tensions leads earthquakes that can reach magnitude and intensity. These earthquakes are located at different depth on the plane of Benioff, that is the level of friction on which a plate slides under another. Shallow earthquakes are related to the initiation of subduction and have their origin in the distention that occurs when the plate that goes is curved. Average depth earthquakes are related to the release of tensions accumulated by friction between the plates. Deep earthquakes are attributed to a process of contraction due to the rapid emergence of compact crystalline structures.
