Meaning of sororidad

Danilo Enrique Noreña Benítez

sororidad
  55

It is a so-called "fraternity" or network of support women using social networks. It is a term coined in Juárez, Mexico City by anthropologist Marcela Lagarde, who defined it as "relationship of brotherhood and solidarity among women to create support networks who push social change, equality". Is equivalent to fraternity, taking into account that for the case male frater means brother and sister soror (remember that in Italian brother is fratello and sister sorella (therefore also a nun told sor).)
