It is an attachment that is placed manually to certain musical instruments, in order to vary their tone (usually return their slightly more bass sounds). A piece that is placed on an instrument to reduce the intensity of its sound (make it more deaf). The most used are those that are placed on a trumpet, violin, sax or drums. .
