In Gastronomy it is the name of a empanadilla or stuffed pastry, usually fried or baked. Type of Hindu appetizer. It has origins in India, Skri Lanka and Tamil. They are usually filled with meat, onion, carrot, chopped potatoes, lentils or peas. There are various shapes: conical, triangular and crescent-shaped.
