Salam malecum is incorrectly written, and should be written as "As-Salaam-Alaikum" being its meaning: the Arabic expression: As-Salaam alei-kum ( Peace be with you ) used by Muslims as a spiritual greeting. To which the questioned responds: " WA-Alaikum-Salaam " ( and also this peace with you )
