It is a Colombianism to name a roundabout ("circular road that joins several routes and allows to resume the same one in the opposite direction") or roundabout (in one of its meanings, "roundabout") . It is a somewhat extreme deformation of the Spanish pronunciation of the French rond-point or rondpoint (ron puan) which as a "point to surround or round" is also interpreted as in Colombia.
