This term has become obsolete while our understanding of the evolutionary of the eukaryotic cell relationship has improved a lot.This science began at the end of the seventeenth century ( 17 ) When Anton van Leeuwenhoek of Netherlands watched for the first time protozoa thanks to enhancements in the microscope. 2.-Branch of Zoology which focuses on the study of protozoa.
