In Roman Mythology she was one of the grim reapers and also one of the helpers of the goddess of childbirth and prophecy, called Carmenta, along with Postversa. It is also the name of a star that belongs to the Constellation of Virgo. It is also called Y Virginis, Y Vir or 29 Virginis. It is less than 40 light years from Earth.
