In literature he is a figure of speech. It consists of repeating several times one or several conjunctions within the same sentence, with the intention of giving greater emphasis or force to what is said.

POLYSYNDETON from the Greek polis, 'much', from syn 'with' and from deo, 'to tie'. Literary figure that belongs to the subgroup of FIGURES OF REPETITION, of the group of FIGURES OF DICTION, and that consists of the repeated and unnecessary use of a conjunction to give more strength and enhancement to a sentence.
