In Colombia we translate it as dance of the tube (they are terms of the English language). Sensual dance in which a vertical tube or bar is used to support acrobatics and jumps.

POLE DANCE dance of the caño, originally from England of the '80s. Dance, sometimes sensual using as an element a pole or vertical spout on which the dancer does acrobatics and pirouettes to the rhythm of the music.
