An exaggeratedly stylish young man, boasting most of the time of a social or cultural status that he does not possess; He always dresses fashionably and in his origins back in the eighteenth century until the middle of the twentieth century he used French words. It is precisely from this language that the etymology is given, for petit maître (petí metre "young gentleman").
