peltre: it is composed of: tin, copper, lead and antimony, it was believed for many years that the fact that it contains lead contaminated food and makes them toxic, losing popularity in kitchens around the world; today it is known that very little lead it contains to harm food, therefore, is harmless to human health.; It is a material which is used in vessels of all types, it is the product of an alloy of Tin, lead and zinc. It is a malleable and durable material. It is very similar to brass and many times confused, although this has preferably alloy of copper and zinc.
