Pehuenche . ( Of the mapuche pewen , pine, and che , people). 1. adj. He said the individual of the Amerindian people who lived in the mountain area of the Argentine Province of Neuquén. It was the first to suffer the linguistic and cultural influence of the Mapuche. U t. c. s. & m. in pl. 2. adj. belonger or relative to the pehuenches. 3. adj. Chile. He said the inhabitant of a part of the cordillera of the Andes. U t. c. s. u. m. in sent. despect.
