pañil . ( Of the mapuche pagil ). 1. m. Chile. Family tree of the Escrofulariáceas, about three meters tall, with leaves large, oblong, Battlement, wrinkled, with yellow hair on its underside, and orange flowers arranged in globose heads. Its leaves are used in medicine for healing of ulcers.
