In Colombia it has two meanings. One is hair, part of the beard or villi that grows ahead of the ears. The other is the name of a cucurbit plant and its fruits which are also known as watermelon, Sindría, aguamelón or water melon. Its scientific name is Citrullus lanatus (belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family).
