It is another common name that receives a palm tree, also known as Majo (in Bolivia), La Palma de Seje, Milpesos, Unamo, Ungurahua oil. Its scientific name is Jessenia polycarpa (U Oenocarpus Batawa) and belongs to the Arecaceae family. An edible and medicinal oil is extracted from it.
