Pangue . ( Of the mapuche panke ). 1. m. Chile. Plant acaule, the family of the GunnerĂ¡ceas, with large sheets of over one meter in length and about half of width, orbicular and lobed. Its centre was born a cylindrical common that bears many flower spikes. The fruit is a small drupe because its calyx becomes fleshy, rhizome, which is astringent, used in medicine and for dyeing and tanning. It is common in swampy areas and along streams.
