It is one of the common names of a tropical tree. It is also known as almácigo, archpin, chacaj? , cachibú, chibu, dead stick, carate, ? copal, naked Indian, jiote, jiñocuabo, chaká, or encuero. Its scientific name is Bursera simaruba and belongs to the family Burseraceae. It is nicknamed the tourist tree.
