In Paraguay and the Rio de la Plata area, it is another way to call a tree of scientific name Enterolobium cyclocarpum, which is commonly known in Colombia as orejero, pinon, ear sprocket, caracaro. In Central America it is called guanacaste, parota, corotú. It belongs to the fabaceae family.
