( Or. )( nahua ). 1. f. tree of the family of the Yuglandáceas, of North America, about 30 m tall, with thick trunk and magnificent Cup, compound leaves of leaflets ovate and toothed, greenish flowers in long catkins, and dry fruit about the size of a walnut, smooth shell and olives, with almond edible form. The wood of this tree, similar to the walnut, is much appreciated. 2. f. fruit of this tree.
