It is one of the common names of a tree that produces edible almond-flavored nuts and from which an oil is extracted. The oil is used for hair restoration. It is also called myristica, otoa or nutmeg. Its scientific name is Myristica otoba and it belongs to the family Myristicaceae. It is also a way of calling a genus of plants from the same family and that is synonymous with Myristica.
