okapies is incorrectly written, and should be written as "Okapi" being its meaning: The correct term is Okapis, plural of Okapi. The Okapi is an African mammal that lives specifically in the Congo. It is of the family Giraffidae. It is a relative of the giraffe and is considered a living fossil. Its scientific name is Okapia jhonstoni. His body is reddish fur and legs remind of a zebra for their color. It is an endangered species from extinction.
