It is another way of calling in Peru the ocra, belmosco or gombo. Its scientific name is Abelmoschus esculentus and belongs to the family Malvaceae. In Colombia we call it candia u okra. Soups, stews and salads are prepared with it. Looks like a sukini cucumber.
