Meaning of najallita

furoya

najallita
  8

I suspect it may be a mistake by 'najayita', although I'm not sure where it comes from. It is evidently a feminine and most likely a diminutive, perhaps as a gentility of Playa Najayo (Dominican Republic) or the Najayote neighborhood in Jalisco (Mexico), or as a derogatory way of naming a Mexica indigenous or for a rather affectionate version of najayote or nijayote; it could also be related to an inmate of the C. C . R . Najayo, or even with a naja snake.

Danilo Enrique Noreña Benítez

Najayita is more suitable. It is the name of the fifth album by Los Bukis released in 1980. It is diminutive of naja, which means Indian, indigenous. Relative to Nayarit . Name given to the yellowish water resulting from cooking corn, which is also called nejayote. Name of a Mexican song.
