Senita, Sina barbona, Musarola senita is a cactus column, light greyish green stems; like the pitayas, multiple ascending arms, emerge from its base but with fewer ribs ( usually 5 to 6 41. Mature plants produce long grey spines ( 5 to 10 cm ) and flattened that accumulate in the ends of the arms and resemble beards. Arms reach diameters approximate 10 centimeters.
