MYCOPLASMA Type of bacteria that do not have a cell wall. They cause atypical pneumonia This disease most often affects children and young people. It is transmitted by prolonged close contact. Symptoms appear between 15 and 25 days after exposure. Antibiotics, when necessary, are erythromicicin, clarithromycin and azithromycin.
