Whirlpool forming the turbulent waters of rivers. It is due to the presence of background rocks, objects, especially wood, sunken, rough banks or curves thereof. In Colombia we also call them moya. They are dangerous sites because drownings occur frequently. Name of a play of Peruvian origin, which represents the connection of man and Amazonian nature.
