It was a small frame bike, special for children (but it was also used by adults). It usually had no horizontal bar, was somewhat heavy, thick rims and had a basket. They were very similar to those currently used in BMX.
The monareta, was a classic bicycle, very common in the 70s and until the early 80s. It was manufactured by the German company Monark, hence the name monareta.
