He said trees and dicotiledonous angiospermos shrubs, nearly all tropical leaves usually opposite, in which, as well as in the bark of branches, usually small and transparent glands full of essential oil; the flowers are white or toenail, and persistent calyx on the fruit, which is capsular and contains several seeds without albumen; e.g., the Myrtle, the clavero and eucalyptus.
