mimbrero , ra . 1. m. and f. person that manufactures Wicker objects. 2. f. shrub in the family of the Salicáceas, whose trunk, two to three meters in height, found from the ground of long and thin, flexible twigs, agrisada bark that is removed with ease, and wood white. Leaves entire, lanceolate, and very narrow, flowers in tight, early, catkins of yellow anthers, and hairy, conical, capsular fruit containing several seeds. It is common in Spain on the banks of the river and its branches are used in basketry works. 3. f. mimbreral. 4. f. Vulgaris of various Willow species name.
