Metacarpus . (Does in goal - and the Gr. ? a? p?, wrist). 1. m. Anat. Set of several long bones are part of the skeleton of the previous members of the Batrachians, reptiles and mammals, which are articulated with the Carpus by one of its ends and the phalanges of the fingers of the hand on the other. The man is the skeleton of the part of the hand between the wrist and fingers and is composed of five bones.
