It is the name of a natural gaseous substance released by decaying organic matter. It has a strong smell of rotten cabbage. It is a sulphur compound that can be used as a flavoring of home natural gas, to be able to detect it as well as additive in aircraft fuel. It is flammable, strong odor and non-toxic. It can be found in blood, brain and animal tissues. It is usually released along with faeces.
