Name of several members of the Alcmeónidas family in Ancient Greece. They were Arcontes, of the Eupátrids families of Attica (Nobles or privileged class). They were exiled for attacking and destroying the Acropolis by attacking and murdering Cilon.
Mefacles : Archon of Athens of the alcmeononds family, who had the cilon conspiracy aborted, achieving, through a deception, to get the conjured accomplices out of the temple of Minerva, which he had slits in the right place.
