1.-mark old ronEl Matusalem no longer occurs in Cuba, occurred in Florida and since 2002 in the Dominican Republic, in the former distillery Matusalem in Santiago de Cuba is today manufactured rum that honor with his name to the city, "Santiago de Cuba " excellent quality as his predecessor. 2.-matusalem is incorrectly written, and should be written as "Methuselah" being its meaning: matusalem = Matusalenmatusalen ( in Hebrew: Þeoeu × ) It is the longest-lived person who is mentioned in the old testament. Genesis 5:27 says that he reached the age of 969 years: "They were, therefore, the years of Methuselah, nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died. "In Genesis it is mentioned as son of Enoch and father of Lamech ( at the same time, father of Noah ) to whom he engendered with 187 years. His name has become synonymous with general applied to any creature of advanced age, used in phrases such as: " have more years than Methuselah " or " be older than Methuselah. " A careful reading of the Old Testament reveals that Methuselah was dying in the year of the great flood.
