It is common in something wet lands and it has been used against scurvy. 2. m. pl. u c. sing. Herbaceous plant in the family Liliaceae, with leaves long, narrow, radical, grooved and lax, fragrant, purple, flowers in spikes about a central escaped from twelve to fifteen inches, and membranous envelope capsular fruit and spherical seeds. It is very common in dry lands and its eltos.
