Marquesia is a genus in the botanical taxonomy of flowering plants belonging to the family Dypterocarpaceae, subfamily Monotoideae ( there are only two recognized species and they are Africa ). They are large and leafy, trees with leathery leaves and very aromatic flower cluster.
