Manatee . ( Voice Caribbean or arahuaca ). 1. m. extinct mammal up to five meters of length, round head, short neck, very thick body and skin Cinderella, tufted and three to four centimetres in thickness. It has member chest in the shape of fins completed by hands, and so developed, serving the female to sustain their tillers as maman. It lives off the coast of the Caribbean and in the rivers of those regions. It is herbivorous animal, and its meat and fat are very estimated. 2. m. strip the skin of this animal, which, after dry, serves to make whips and sticks.
