The maguacata or mahuacata is the sheath and the seed of the tree of ebony, which is used as a snack or snack in lieu of peanuts or walnuts. They are consumed toasted and something is salt. The scientific name of the tree is Ebenopsis ebano and belongs to the Fabaceae family.
