Meaning of macho explicador

furoya

macho explicador
  8

It seems like a translation of the English neologism mansplainer, which would be a man – usually with a macho discourse – explaining a situation to another person – usually a submissive woman – in a condescending way, from an unfair place of superiority. See mansplaining.

Sergio M

It is said of the act of explaining something to someone in a way that suggests that the person is considered unintelligent. It is especially used when a man explains something to a woman that she already understands. It is advisable to use this term and not the anglicism "Mansplaining" being unnecessary its use since there is its equivalent in Spanish, in order to avoid unnecessary foreign words.
