Also called Macaguane, Macahuane, Hitnü, Jitnu or Macahuán. It is one of the names given to an indigenous village in the Department of Arauca in Colombia. They are located on the banks of the Ele River, in the municipalities of Arauca, Arauquita, Fortul and Puerto Rondón. Language spoken by this same people. Language of the Guahibana family.
