ludión . ( Of the lat. )( ludio,-onis , Minstrel, by the figurine that often put ballast). 1. m. device designed to make palpable the equilibrium theory of bodies submerged in liquids. It is a ball small, hollow and hampered, with a very small hole in the bottom, where it penetrates more or less amount of liquid when it is submerged in water, according to the pressure exerted on the surface of this.
