It is a carnivorous animal of the family Felidae. Its fur is mottled but its main characteristics are to have a kind of beard (plume of hairs on the cheeks), plume of hairs on the ears, long ears and also a very short tail. It lives only in the Northern Hemisphere. Its scientific name is Lynx lynx.
