Königstuhl is incorrectly written, and should be written as "Königstuhl" being its meaning: Königstuhl = Konigstuhlel Königstuhl ( German pronunciation: [Kodneci Tudl] ) translated as " seat of Kings " is a hill of 567 meters in the Odenwald mountains and in the city of Heidelberg, in the German State of Baden-Württemberg. The Königstuhl Summit allows visitors a spectacular view of the city of Heidelberg and the Neckar River, as well as the Valley of the Rhine. [citation needed] On days with good conditions the view extends to the Pfaelzerwald (Bosque of the Palatinate ) which is roughly 40 to 50 km.The Hill is linked to Kornmarkt, in Heidelberg's Altstadt, by the Heidelberger Bergbahn, a two-section historic funicular train which stops at the Castillo de Heidelberg, located in the skirts of the Königstuhl, and the Molkenkur restaurant / hotel and the final stop at the top of the mountain housing a restaurant, a children's entertainment park and several trails for walking.
