According to some authors, Jesus comes from the latin Iesus, this in turn from the Greek Iesous , and latter the Hebrew Yeshua , however, according to Jewish sources, Jesus and Yeshua are not the same, are not even the same person. Jesus has no meaning in Hebrew, while Yeshua means El Salvador eternal.
